The CW has picked up five additional episodes of frosh drama “Privileged.”
Order brings the show’s season total to 18, including “Privileged’s” initial 13-episode pickup.
That means both of the netlet’s frosh scripted skeins (not including the Sunday MRC fare) have been given votes of confidence. The Dub had previously given “90210″ a full season order.
To help expand sampling for “Privileged,” the CW will air original segs on two consecutive Mondays – Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 – behind “Gossip Girl.” (“One Tree Hill,” which was scheduled to be in repeats, will be pre-empted.) Those segs will then repeat the following night, in “Privileged’s” normal post-”90210″ slot.
