On Thursday, November 26, Food Network and Food Network Magazine will present one of America’s favorite floats, Tom the Turkey, in the 83rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.® As he has done for more than three decades, Tom the Turkey will lead the celebration down the streets of Manhattan, officially marking the start of the holiday season. Riding along with Tom will be Food Network stars Sunny Anderson (Cooking for Real), Anne Burrell (Secrets of a Restaurant Chef) and Claire Robinson (5 Ingredient Fix), who share their tips and recipes in Food Network Magazine.

Tom the Turkey measures 21-feet tall and 20-feet wide and is covered in brilliantly colored plumage, a festive collar and blue award ribbon, will be followed by 23 floats including three new additions at this year’s festivities.
