Fame was both a movie and a tv series that introduced the world to the concept of magnet schools and specialty high schools by chronicling the lives of aspiring performers at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts. The real ‘Fame’ high school has graduated such well known talents as Jennifer Aniston who attended in the 1980s. Check out the trailers for the next crop of movie wannabes. I think it looks promising – updating the original concept.
