Castle premiered tonight – and what fun! If you missed it make sure that you check out the premiere episode on the ABC website- you can even view it in HD. Susan Sullivan as his mother is funny- we finally have another older woman to give Taylor Holland on Three and a Half Men a run for the most inappropriate mother award. Stana Katic as the lead female , a NYC detective Kate Beckett has the right amount of smart without being smart ass- that is left to Fillion who handles it so well. Flowers on Your Grave as a series premiere hit me the same way that the first episode of The Mentalist did. I immediately liked and connected with the characters and could not wait to see more with them.
