Back in 1992 a year before the X-Files  David Duchovny starred in a tv movie and then the popular soft-core series Red Shoe Diaries produced by Zalman King. The series ran on Showtime from 1992-1996 or so with new episodes. David continued to do his part on the show which was to act as narrarator Jake Winters along with his border collie sidekick Stella. Red Shoe Diaries were incredibly popular as they had strong fantasy elements at the core of each story. Lots of people who went on to be big names did Red Shoes- most notable was Matt LeBlanc a year before becoming Joey “I won’t do gay porn” on Friends.

Hulu has just made a lot of fans happy by adding the series to their online library! These are R-rated and definitely soft-core. No full frontal nudity, just some rear shots and boobs. You can see almost this much in primetime today. Have fun perusing the HULU library looking for your favorite stars- before they were stars!
