Well, for everyone saying that the third season is sucking a bit, I agree…if you wanted the Hank Moody season 1 introduced you to. This season was all about change- which can be a doozy. Hank Moody is not supposed to be as cool as he was. He is purposelly detereoating. I mean, how many people could remain the same after being down on their luck so many times? Newayz..I love the show. Wish it culd go on forever.

I used to be a fan. Now I think it sucks. The writing is atrocious, it is unacceptable for a program’s writing to be called into question when its central character is himself a writer. How can a series evolve into something special when it revolves around an author who speaks mostly in cliches, and never seems to deliver any effective, thought-provoking line? Are we to believe that the guy is so troubled he is utterly incapable of saying anything inspiring? I mean, I am not even a writer, but even I utter more expressive, stimulating thoughts in a day than Hank Moody (David Duchovny) does in one twenty-eight minute episode.

I really loved the first and second season, definately top 5 tv series ever, but the third one is starting out as a dissapointment. Hank moody used to be a man of principle, even though he acted like a dick most of the time, and screwed up, he used to step up when it was important. In season 3, he’s just a dick who doesn’t care about anyone, takes nothing seriously, and he is booring. Hate to see them screw him up, but he is not cool anymore, just a juvenile punk.
