This week a lot of press has gone around talking about remaking Melrose and offering up an updated show like the CW has done with 90210. I think this is a great idea! The night time soap is a show that people can tune into, get into and come back to week after week and just enjoy themselves. So many crime shows are so dark- it is nice to see things on a less deadly and more out there level. Besides- I want to see clothes and fashions for grownups on TV! It is time for the rise of a new nasty villain in primetime and not one with any super powers other than the ability to make everyone around them feel lower than dirt…

This week TVG has been running their top TV villains of all time- and guess what? Three of the top 4 came from night time soaps! Dallas , Dynasty and Melrose all made the cut!
