I guess he heard that Angela Bassett was moving to ER and figured he better get in on the sweet network TV action….actually CSI had been negotiating all summer to add the actor best known for his work with Angela Bassett in the Ike and Tina Turner biopic “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and his turn in “The Matrix” movies. Fishburne will be playing a forensic scientist replacing CSI veteran William Peterson who is leaving the show to move behind the camera as a producer.
